Mohammad Asif Azizi
Acting Chief Finance Officer(A-CFO)
Mr. Azizi is a highly expert and qualified banker with 16 years
of experience in the field of banking and finance. Initially, he started his
career with the Islamic Bank of Afghanistan (formerly Bakhtar Bank) on June 9,
2009. He has been working in different areas including Audit, Finance, and
Operations Depts.
Mr. Azizi holds double Masters, master's degree in Finance and
Banking affairs (M.A), from Kabul University, also Master of Business
Administration (MBA), from Dunya University and a bachelor's degree in Business
Administration from Bakhtar University. He has also attended other vital
courses during his career abroad, including a certification in professional
Islamic banking from EAIFE (European Academy for Islamic Finance and Economics)
in Istanbul, Turkey, a certification in Islamic Banking and Finance from
Earnest and Young Kabul, Afghanistan, a certificate of IFRS From Dubai, and
currently he obtained his CPA (Certified public Accountant) qualification from
UK. additionally, his CIPA course is in progress and he has passed two out of
four papers in the CIPA course he is undertaking.

in the banking industry, with a demonstrated history of success and leadership.
His contributions to the Islamic Bank of Afghanistan have been significant, and
his expertise and skills have made him an invaluable asset to the organization.
